Join our Faith Build!

Our Goal: To raise $48,000 and build a house through the sponsorship and support of area churches.  Your congregation can be a sponsor of the Faith Build by donating $4,000.  Work alongside other Faith Partners to build a house together.  We will break ground on the project in mid-October 2008.

Here is how YOU can help:

SPONSOR: Support Faith Build 2008 financially by donating $4,000.  Your contribution, along with other Faith Build sponsors will provide a house for a           deserving family.  Sponsors will need to turn in their donations by Oct. 1, 2008. 

PRAY: Pray for Habitat’ mission throughout the Faith Build.  Pray for the supporters, volunteers, and the new homeowners.   

VOLUNTEER: Habitat builds houses with volunteers!  You can be a part of the Faith Build by coming out to the site to help build the house!  Are you available Tuesdays, Thursdays or Saturdays from 8-3?  It doesn’t matter if you are a skilled carpenter or a beginner.  Volunteer with Habitat for a day and help a family build their new house!

Habitat for Humanity of Goldsboro-Wayne is an ecumenical Christian housing ministry with a mission to eliminate poverty housing in our area and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience. The work cannot be accomplished without the support of individuals and organizations in our community who give of their time, talents and resources.

Habitat welcomes bon a fide groups representing denominational, business, professional, or fraternal organizations to become involved as a Sponsor of a “Basic Habitat House” through many different levels or opportunities. To determine which category your group will undertake we encourage you to evaluate the level of resources, motivations, finance abilities and willingness to perform “hands on” labor your organization can participate.
